Nyingchi Travel Guide:

Nyingchi is the most pleasant weather in Tibet because of its low altitude and landscape of flora and fauna. Therefore, it’s a great choice to travel first to Nyingchi to acclimatize if you have enough time. The average elevation of Nyingchi is 3000 meters.

To get to Nyingchi, you can fly from any city in China to Nyingchi Milin Airport. The airport is just 20kilometres from the city centre. There are many good hotels and restaurants in the city.

Most Bon spiritual tour travellers prefer to fly directly to Nyingchi instead of Lhasa because there are many Bon monasteries. In addition, the holy Bonri mountain is also close to Nyingchi city.

All the foreign tourists must need the Tibet travel permit to enter Tibet both fly or train. Moreover, you must need the Aliens travel permit to travel smoothly in the Nyigchi area.

There are Buddhist monasteries like Lama Ling Monastery, Buchu Sergyi Lakhang, Dreksum Tso temple, etc. Moreover, they are more Bon spiritual sites as compare to Buddhist sites. To visit these sites, you must need your Tibet travel permit and the Aliens travel permit.
